Thanks for posting the URLs of WMA streaming stations that you've had
issues with. The good news is that most of them should work with the
current SVN or the next nightly build and firmware 21. They do not yet
work with SqueezeNetwork, but this will change at some point in the
future when we update the network. Here are moredetails:
shvejk:
mms://82.208.28.37/rmffm - Works with latest build
mms://stream.polskieradio.pl/Program 3 - You will need to escape the
URL first before entering it into the Tune In form - try
mms://stream.polskieradio.pl/Program%203.
gingerneil:
mms://wm4.abacast.com/talksport - Works with the latest build
gharris999:
http://play.rbn.com/play.asx?url=airam/airam/wmlive/live.asf&proto=mms?mswmext=.asx
- The station uses the WMA Voice codec, which we don't yet support. I'll
post more information about the codec when I have more information.
James:
mms://ms2.capitalinteractive.co.uk/xfm_high - Works with the latest
build
opchiasm:
http://www.streamaudio.com/stations/asx/kfog_fm.asx - Works with the
latest build
http://ccri.eonstreams.com/ccri_mn_minneapolis_ktcz_fm.asf - Works
with the latest build, though the station was unavailable for a day or
so this weekend.
empedia:
http://www.radio3net.ro/index.php?cx=best500 - These seem to be the
first I've seen that don't support HTTP access. As I mentioned earlier,
most Windows Media streaming servers allows multi-protocol access (MMS,
RTSP, HTTP) and we're taking advantage of the latter. I'll post more
information when I have it, but I'd encourage you to ask the provider to
turn on HTTP streaming through the Windows Media Server (see
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/serve/firewall.aspx#HTTP).
fatfred:
mms://202.7.7.90/rnz-natrad - Works consistently with the latest
build. Let me know if you have a consistent way of recreating the crash
you report.
