refresh would only work on a regularly scheduled change. Using play controls
would still have a problem. The issue is that when the status or
status_header
reloads, for whatever reason, the playlist.html should be reloaded in
its frame
as well. I can find no reference for the reload() command failing in Safari,
and the d_http log seems to show that the server is being told to provide it.
Safari just doens't seem to update. Whether or not its a caching issue is
unknown. After hours and hours of searching, I've given up. It is someone
else's problem now :)
Given the state of things, I'd suggest that even a refresh meta will fail. A
full page refresh sometimes fails to update.
