I thought an effort was being made to make full rescans required less often -
is this for 6.2?

I just updated some tags and performed the partial rescan; in particular I'm
changing an ARTIST tag for a song that is by more than one artist.

For example, I have a song called "Chill Out (Things Gonna Change)" that used
to be tagged with an artist "Santana feat. John Lee Hooker". I changed this to
use the "Multiple items in tags" delimiter (semi-colon). i.e. "Santana;John
Lee Hooker", with an ARTISTSORT of "Santana;Hooker, John Lee".

After the rescan, I browsed to Santana. There wasn't an entry sorted under
"S", so I looked past "Z", where I seem to have a growing number of artists
entries being incorrectly sorted. I found "Santana", and navigated to the song
info. This correctly lists the artists "Santana" and "John Lee Hooker", but
also still lists the previous artist entry that I removed ("Santana feat. John
Lee Hooker").

I didn't change the filename; just the tags.

Looks like a partial rescan currently only detects new music, and new changes
in tags, but doesn't remove the information that the changes replace.

I'm guessing, but I would expect that a partial scan works by looking at files
with a modification date being later than the last time the file was scanned.
I'm guessing it doesn't look to see if there are items in the music library
where the url doesn't exist anymore (file deletion or rename). Are there plans
to detect deleted/renamed music files, or will it still be necessary to perform
a full rescan to correct things like this?
