Hi, This is on the current 6.2, not a beta ( there doesn't seem to be a forum for that? )
Anyway I've 2 questions resulting from my problems. I have been busy ripping my music collection, but half way through decided my directory structure wasn't right ... so I moved some albums around using the OS. ( Windows XP ) These had already been scanned by Slimserver. Following these moves I attempted a new scan but Slimserver stopped. Trying to restart it fails, all I get is an "empty document" web message and it immediately stops. So... Q1. Is there any way to force Slimserver to do a full rescan on startup? I think one that clears the library rather than just a normal scan. Q2. Is there any way that I can export or preserve the settings for both Slimserver and my player? As the only way I have found of getting things working again is by completely deleting and reinstalling slimserver ... losing all my customisation in the process.
