I've just upgraded slimserver from 2005_8_18 6.2.1b nightly to SlimServer_6_2_x_v2005-11-07 nightly.The Live Search and Advanced Search at the Web interface don't work very well with Chinese characters.
Take "Live Search" for example,when a single Chinese character is entered,all is well.Please see attached p_1_2.bmp . When three Chinese characters are entered,it is still ok.Please see attached p_3_4.bmp. But When only two Chinese characters are entered,It doesn't return the right thing.Please see attached p_5_6.bmp. Same thing happens when entering Chinese characters in the artist field in the "Advanced Search".It seems like "encoding-guessing" problem.
