That shouldn't have happened.
Can you check the MAC address of the player against the number
printed on the bottom?

Player now at 27, thanks for the quick fix, however this is
my first firmware upgrade and I see all of my player settings
have been wiped..player name, brightness, crossfade selections, pretty
much looks like everything I configured on it is back to defaults. Is
that intentional or did I do something wrong?
