I'm having a similar problem in 6.2.1. I notice that I see two copies of the songs, one with artwork displaying in the browser, and one without. I only started seeing this after I added artwork via iTunes, so I'm guessing it's some sort of confusion around that. I've tried to doing a clear library with rescan, and the problem remains. Next I'll try removing the artwork to see if the problem goes away.
