Hello, I'm having a strange issue with Slimserver and MusicMagic Mixer: Slimserver: SlimServer Version: 6.5b1 - 5472 - Windows XP - EN - cp1252
MusicMagicMixer: MusicmagicMixer 1.5 in headless mode I tagged nearly all my song that had "Original Soundtrack" as artist with the right name of the composer, than i changed the file name and moved them inside another directory ( the structure is like: "D:\Music\E\Ennio Morricone\Ennio Morricone - Playing Love.mp3" .. Before doing it the mp3 was under "D:\Music\O\Original Soundtrack\Original Soundtrack - Playing Love". I updated the ID3 Datas too, so now it should be "perfect". But when i "clean and rescan" all my library, i continue to see the old name and when i try to play it obviously i have a warning saying that it cannot be played, it is still pointing to the old directory. I already tried to delete all Slimserver Cache directory and redo a scan, nothing changed. (everytime i was rebooting the pc) Then i tried to stop the musicmagicserver and the slimserver, delete MMM library and Slimserver cache, open musicmagicmixer and redo a scan of all my songs there (creating a new MMM library) rebooting the PC (thinking ok, now there's NOTHING that should have the old datas inside)... But.. when i tried to launch Slimserver it just crashed, i re-opened it and the library had only 1 artis, 1 album, 1 song (the first one he see doing the scan i think), i tried to clean and rescan and it crashed again. The only way to let Slimserver work again is to totally stop MMM or telling to Slimserver to not use MusicMagic anymore.. Someone has some idea? I really love MMM, and i use it a lot for mixes and so on, i would be glad to have it again working correctly :( Is there some other data do you need to try to understand what's happening? Btw.. Slimserver is running on a dedicated PC: Cpu Amd XP 2.8Ghz with Windows XP Pro SP2 on it, 512Mb Ram, HD 40Gb with OS on it and 200Gb HD with all my music. Thank you for your time.
