agreed, but you are still asking us to guess. please file a bug and
attach BOTH files (if you still have a copy of the one that you have
since removed artwork from).
at least, now, you have a quick fix and can add the details of those
fixes to the report to help anyone who decides to try to fix the crash
in narrowing down the possible causes (thus taking less of their free
time).
