Likewise assuming that 6.5 beta is stable by now, I made the mistake of installing it. Slimserver wouldn't start. So I tried the 6.5 nightly from 1/22/06, still won't start. Tried re-installing 6.2.2, which was previously running fine, and still no luck. Now I'm stuck.
How can I roll back to 6.2.2 without losing all Slim preferences (I am using 3 Squeezeboxes, and don't want to lose the custom configurations of each)? -- sleepysurf squeezebox2 (with elpac wm075-1950-760 linear psu) direct to amp, 300gb buffalo linkstation (remote flac audio file storage), sunfire cinema grand 200 ~five (vertically bi-amped) driving martin-logan aerius i's, blue jeans cables.
