I've also have had issues with firmware 29, but in my preliminary testing, I think that I've fixed it.
My setup is as following; Linksys wrt54g v5 router Speedstream dsl modem Windows xp professional pc. The issues are; Dropouts and slowing down of songs playing while stream flac files. SB2 not responding to any commands via the remote and locking up. My fix; Went to the linksys website and downloaded the latest version of the router firmware, updated the routers firmware. After rebooting the router, factory resetting the SB2 and playing music for 1/2 hour, there are no more problems. I will attempt further testing this evening.
