Hi Kyle IR Repeater functionality works like this: The IR commands captured by SB2/SB3 (I've tested NEC and RC5 type remotes) are sent to SlimServer which in turn sends the commands out through IR Blaster (if the IR Repeater checkbox is checked in the webinterface).
SlimServer does not interpret the IR commands at all and you don't have to have an LIRC config file loaded. The IR commands are sent through IR Blaster as they arrive at SB3.
