This just happened to me again this morning, twice. Yesterday, I
upgraded my server to 6.5b1 - 6308 - Linux which upgraded my SB2 to
FW33. I cleared the database and rescanned all my music (~10,000 mp3
files) which left the SB2 "Now Playing" playlist empty. When my
"Everyday" alarm went off this morning at 6:45, it played the first
random song in the playlist for about 8 seconds. Then, it jumped to
another random song in the playlist and continued to work properly.
Since I didn't want to wake up at 6:45, I reset the alarm to 7:30. At
7:30, the same thing happened with the first song being played for only
a few seconds before automatically skipping to the next one.

What can I do to try and debug this problem? Which debug flags would
help show me what's going on (I've never used them before)?

This message was placed in the log right after I upgraded yesterday:
2006-02-18 14:32:14.1451 Client not found for slimproto msg op: IR

And I just noticed this message from when I rescanned my library last
night for a second time:
