I played dozens of songs at a time on any particular station without incident. > Another annoyance that became evident as I tried my personal stations > was the inability of the "genome" logic to learn that when (for > example) I had selected Jack Teagarden (dixieland type jazz) it should > not try to veer off into say Miles Davis or other modern and unrelated > styles... much as I would click on the "I don't like this" button.. it > would still try to send me off in other unrelated genres... I'd recommending setting up in the Artist/Specific Song manner then. You can use the combination in a single search definition to lock to a specific style. I've done that 7 ways so far and it's been just fine. You can also add more Dixieland artists into the same original definition to clarify it even more. Think of it like Google. One search term casts a pretty broad net but additing additional ones refines your results. I'd also take issue that you defined him as "dixieland type jazz". A quick Google shows a whole lot of Blues in his discography. That will veer you away from Dixie right there. That's when redefining to a style works better. -- avaloncourt ------------------------------------------------------------------------ avaloncourt's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4200 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=21432 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/beta
