When I got my SB3 I ran 6.2.1 (wireless server) and SB3 wireless FW 28. MP3's were OK, FLACs dropped out like crazy.
My wireless signal (802.11g) was showing between 18 and 24 MBPS with low signal strength - which I believe should have been fine for FLACs - the wireless server nearby had no problems with connectivity. Anyway, I configured a wireless repeater and placed it right next to the SB3 - and not a single problem since then. I have since upgraded to 6.2.2 and FW 35 for other reasons.
