I reverted 6.2.2 back to an SVN revision to get firmware version 28 (which is partially working for me - better than any subsequent firmware). However, there's some bug fixes in subsequent SVN revisions that I'd like to have.
Is it possible (safe!) to tweak the version file to force version 28 with the latest 6.2.2 SVN? If so, how do I do it? I assume I have to edit the squeezebox2.version file, but I'm not sure what to do with it.
