I've had the problem of missing songs and I just upgraded to 6.5b1 6733. The performance seems much better, but I'm still missing songs. Less of them, but still missing some.
I am running iTunes 6.0.1.3 and have a fairly large music library 11404 songs (10566 are "checked"). After installing 6.5b1 I clear the slim server library and rescanned. It found more songs, however it is still missing about 175 songs. I have my iTunes reload interval set to 0 and have an automatic rescan set for 4:00AM every day. Any suggestion on how to detect which songs are missing.
