I get an effect that might be called stuttering - but only when playing live internet radio streams. It sounds like some stale buffer chunk is suddenly inserted in the stream. I would guess its very roughly a second or so - could by way off on that.
But the chunk is often pretty old - for example a snip of voice in the middle of a musical number. I hear this most often on WCPE Title: WCPE File Format: MP3 Bitrate: 96kbps CBR Location: http://audio-mp3.ibiblio.org:8000/wcpe.mp3 and had assumed it was in the input stream - but maybe not? In any case, I still get it with 37.
