I'm having the same exact problem. It appears unrelated to wireless / wired, as for me, it happens in either configuration. Playback just stops mid-song sometimes, for no apparent reason. I sent in an email to support and posted a note about this in the UNIX forum (with debugging trace output), but nobody has been able to help.
