I fix this as follows:
# use Scalar::Util qw(weaken);
use Scalar::Util;
This seems to have moved to Slim/Formats/XML.pm
The same fix works.
I wouldn't recommend this, if you don't have weaken you will see
memory leaks. Reinstalling Scalar::Util should take care of the
problem.
