I'm still having problems starting SS 6.5b1 5/23 nightly on Mandrake.
When I run the startup script it reports OK, but an immediate status
check indicates the server is stopped. There are no log files or error
messages.
Can anyone point me to earlier 6.5b1 releases that might not exhibit
this problem. I'm reluctant to go with the latest nightlies due to
potential complications with MySQL.
