The question I have is whether this is a pref that will automatically launch a rescan, or if it will be left to the user.
It will be left to the user. The description should be updated to reflect that.
Another question: Does this setting only affect scanning within the Music Folder, or is it universal? For instance, if you wanted m3u files within the Music Folder to be ignored, would this disable playlist functionality by also skipping those files within the Playlists Folder?
