I scanned some new MP3 music into my music library with NERO "save tracks" this populated the MP3 ID3 V1 tags. This music scanned fine and was available from slimserver.
I later added Album art which populated one ID3 V2 tag. This album then disapeared from the slimserver library. So is the logic of the music scan if ID3 V2 tag is defined ignore any V1 data. I fixed this by deleting the V2 tag.
