The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( Application )
cannot be
found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry
information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote
computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve
this
description; see Help and Support for details. The following
information is part of the event: Can't locate object method
"host" via
package "URI::_generic" at /PerlApp/Slim/Networking/Async/HTTP.pm
line
152.
Funnily enough I wasn't even using web interface of slimserver. It was
open but I wasn't doing anything. Could it be the auto refresh?
Does the crash happen soon after starting SlimServer? Can you stop
the SlimServer Service and run from the command line to capture some
debug output?
C:\Program Files\SlimServer\server\slim.exe --d_upnp --d_http_async --
logfile C:\slimserver.log
After the crash, check slimserver.log and it should display the bad
URL it's trying to connect to. I suspect it may be coming from a
UPnP device on your network, that's why I added the upnp debug switch.
