I've picked up the new VA changes, and most things are looking good again. I've noticed two things though, that may be related:
1) If I use Browse Music folder to navigate to music that I know I have updated (eg. change of VA album name), I end up with duplicate albums. ie. the old album name remains. This is just one example where Browse Music Folder causes inconsistencies in the music library. I would have thought that Browse Music Folder would work like a "look for new and changed music", updating the music library accordingly. 2) I usually leave my PC on, but this morning I shut it down and restarted tonight. My music library is now reporting 0 albums by 0 artists. No errors in the log. I previously updated to latest SVN a few times, restarting the service without problems, so not sure what has gone wrong. I am rescanning now, after which I will try to repeat by restarting the service.
