it crashed the system..related issue i guess. Is there any way the database could have got corrupted between installs - I did an upgrade after an installation of couple of nights back was failing to find anything in my music folder...
You should uninstall and re-install. But before you do that - check the System Event Log. Anything there? Could you also try running with: --d_mysql before reinstalling?
