If I browse by... album, I get a list of 900 ish albums. It doesn't matter what sort order I select or if I switch to gallery view, I will still see a list of 900 ish albums. Sorting this list by "year, album", means I get a view with 20 pages. Oh, I just noticed that when sorted by year, the year is added to the end of each album name. I hadn't noticed before because my first 2 pages worth of albums don't have years, so I asumed the whole list would be like that. Note to self: I really must fill in the missing year tags for those albums! It's the page links I have trouble with, I guess. I mean, if I wan't to find an album in 1990, I don't know what page to jump to. Much easier to Browse By... Year, and then select sort by album, which is kind of equivalent, except heirarchical rather than a long list. Also, this view would be really hard to navigate with the Player UI. I think some additional heirarchy views would be much nicer, and translate well to Player UI too. Options to Browse Aritst or Genre by New Music age would be good too.
