Relen, Just to say that I experienced exactly this kind of behaviour with my first Nokia770, but not when browsing Slimserver web interface - rather whenever I first checked my email (again, not 100% repeatable but close). Like you, it seemed to be closely connected to utilising the wireless connnection, data would stop being received and then the unit would reboot. On advice from Nokia support I reinstalled O/S 2006 to little effect. Nokia support were very keen that I should try the unit with a WEP secured connection, not WPA, but I wasn't keen so they agreed to replace the unit.
The replacement unit has had absolutely no issues with spontaneous rebooting despite regular use.
