Robin, have you tried clearing your cache, and retrying? How about
disabling all your extensions, if any, clearing cache and retrying?
How about trying in another browser?
I might just end up reverting the whole thing, anyway. After all the
clamouring for ajax, it is amazing the amount of feedback that seems
to indicate that it is actually more reassuring to see the page redraw
every so often even though the same people will claim the refreses are
annoying. Considering what a pia it is to maintain, it seems hardly to
have been worth the effort (in hindsight).
*Please* consider developing it further... seriously, I think the Ajax
change is a massive improvement. The refresh used to drive me batty,
and it's much slicker now.
I think that Ajax offers a great way to incrementally answer the
whining about having to use a web interface - just compare Gmail to a
standard web mail client, and the difference is incredible.
I realise that doesn't make diagnosing problems easier though :)
