Last night my Maxtor OneTouch 500 music disk gave up the ghost. So it is most probable that all the problematic tag stuff I experienced was due to the disk beginning to fail. Only SlimServer scanning was affected originally because it is the only thing on the PC that uses the disk to any stressfull degree at all I think. I should have a replacement in a weeks time so will report back then if all is OK nor not. :-( MC
