Sorry, I wasn't having a go at anyone suggesting that there should be code to 
remove redundant settings.  I'm not really bothered - it's not like it takes up 
a lot of space or anything!

It was an honest question, as I intend to move my prefs file sideways and 
restart in an attempt to track down why my slimserver with external MySQL 
instance is wiping my library at startup.

I figure that I can then diff the recreated pref file against my current prefs 
file to see if there's any corrupt settings.  But I was wondering if I should 
expect to also see a bunch of redundant settings.
