True, I think it's pretty obvious when it's running and when it's stopped. Blue text in the display, running. Dark display, stopped. The "text" is only a pixel or two high but it's still visible. It's easy to tell with just a slight glance - there's a huge contrast between the bright aqua "text" and the dark display.
