What about the constant problems with it reporting many duplicate albums and tracks ?
Please file a bug, so your specific issue can be tracked and fixed. Include as much information about your setup as possible - directory layout, tags, etc. The output of the --d_scan & --d_info debugging flags on a small portion of your directory tree that has this problem would be useful as well.
