Ok ... I killed the process via Task Manager. Then I ran the scanner as instructed from the command line.
However, in that time, the server started up another Scanner process. So that by the time I kicked off mine manually, there are two Scanner.exe processes running. One under my user account, the other under SYSTEM. There's an ongoing stream of output to my console window ... is there something particular you need to see?
