If you only have one album listed under a genre and that album is a "various artists" album it is impossible to play or see any information about the album using the remote.
To recreate. Choose any various artists album you have and tag it (i.e. all tracks) as one genre that no other albums in your collection use. Use the remote to browse to that genre. Attempt to play the album or view any information about it. This is not a new bug. Sometime ago whilst using the SlimServer web interafce I noticed that I didn't think the behaviour was very good when a genre contained just a various artists album. i.e. browse to Home / Genres / Chamber Music the return is: 0 albums with 0 songs by 0 artists. Various Artists Play Add to playlist An album, whether containing various artists or not, is still an album with a defined number of tracks and artists, so the listing of 0 albums with 0 songs by 0 artists is incorrect. However, from the web interface it is possible to at least view info and play the album. Using the remote it is not. If someone can verify this I'll file a bug. XP Pro.
