I've seen reports of similar issues with B&K receivers and preamps (2 series and 3 series) with the digital inputs being used, and in a few of them B&K admitted that it was their problem and a hardware/firmware upgrade was required. Is there any possibility that you have a very old version of the hardware or firmware for your B&K AVR315?
