I had a bit of interferance with neighbouring wifi channels, so I changed channel and checked signal strength and ran the network test plugin from my squeezebox. At 3000K/s, the screen froze.
I had a perl crash: Faulting application perl.exe, version 5.8.8.817, faulting module perl58.dll, version 5.8.8.817, fault address 0x00085c14. My log contained the following: 2006-10-02 00:00:59.8125 NowPlaying: failed to connect to ftp server: Net::FTP: Bad hostname 'ftp.plus.net' 2006-10-02 00:00:59.8125 Thread failed to start: Can't call method "login" on an undefined value at P:\Music\SlimServer\trunk\server/Plugins/NowPlaying/Plugin.pm line 172, <DATA> line 1. 2006-10-02 00:00:59.8271 Attempt to free non-existent shared string 'when', Perl interpreter: 0x6fe0124, <DATA> line 1 during global destruction. 2006-10-02 00:00:59.8273 Free to wrong pool 6fe8238 not 233fc8, <DATA> line 1 during global destruction. 2006-10-02 00:00:59.8379 Attempt to free unreferenced scalar: SV 0x6e7afe0, Perl interpreter: 0x2342dc at P:\Music\SlimServer\trunk\server/Slim/Utils/Timers.pm line 125. I installed the NowPlaying plugin a week or so ago - I haven't got round to setting it up yet, but the occasional "failed to connect to ftp server" message hasn't been a problem. Could there be some issue with this occuring during a network test though?
