I would really appreciate some guidance from those who know on what the
critical supporting software for SlimServer is and what version numbers
I should have. The behaviour I am getting looks buggy enough that I
wonder whether some DLL is the wrong version.

I have just noticed this evening that the multiple genre feature is not
working for me. For instance, if my cuesheet contains 'REM GENRE
"Classical;Baroque"' then when I rescan my genres includes an entry for
"Classical;Baroque" and no individual entries for each constituent
genre. While I didn't try this with 6.2.1, when I web search I find
enough people singing praises to this feature that I presume it must
have worked before. Since I can't imagine why anyone would do a
re-write of a working parser between 6.2 and 6.5 it doesn't make sense
to me that it would break.

As well, an album that I just converted to flac, Harmonium's "Si on
avait besoin d'une cinquième saison", shows up with only the second cut
of five listed. I wonder whether the high ASCII character is an issue,
but it's very strange that this would make the parser work for one cut
(not the first) but blow up for all the rest.

Maybe it's time that I have a look at the code. Unfortunately, I have
too many other fires to fight right now to wade into that.

BTW, I lied when I said the box was WinXP SP2. It is Win2K SP4
(5.00.2195). (It slipped my mind that I was remote controlling another
box from an XP SP2 box.)
