Hi,

I've been a Slimserver user for about a year. Running three SB3's and
Slimserver software on a dedicated ClarkConnect linux headless server.
Uptime and stability have been great.

Since upgrading to Slimserver 6.5, I have encountered a few problems.
First was the WMA "Title-Artist" disply bug. I updated to the
10-10-2006 nightly build and that seemed to have solved that issue. I
then noticed that my nightly rescans were not picking up new CDs added
to the server. I have just upgraded to the 10-22-2006 nightly build to
see if the nightly scans work better.

I turned on some logging and notice the following error message line:

2006-10-22 11:13:36.2822 ERROR: coverArt: Exception when trying to call
readCoverArt() for
[file:///home/shared/music/Flim%20&%20the%20BB%27s/This%20Is%20a%20Recording/01%20Universe%20of%20Two.wma]
: [Can't use string ("o*") as a HASH ref while "strict refs" in use at
/usr/local/slimserver/Slim/Formats/WMA.pm line 95.
]

Does this error explain why I do not have any cover art displayed for
this title even thought the artwork is present in a file in the
directory? I'm not sure what this is saying? Could the name of the
Artist (Flim & BB's) be the problem? I'm thinking the apostrophe or
ampersand could be the problem?

I currently have 1567 albums in the database.

Thanks.

-CB
