I suspect that this issue might have started cropping up when socketwrapper.exe was substituted for cmd.exe for spawning the flac transcoding processes on windows systems. It's sounding like the last few samples of each track are getting chopped off. So, I guess the effect isn't "gaps" so much as "hiccups." Anyone remember about which svn it was when socketwrapper.exe was given this chore? I'm willing to roll-back and test if I new the right svn to roll back to.
Roll back to 10270. The socketwrapper change was in 10271.
