I've added a couple of small changes to 6.5 branch aimed at reducing the server cpu spike seen when the playlist for the default skin refreshes. [This is every 30 seconds when the web inteface is open on the Default skin] These are in svn 10976 and so will be in the next nightly.
I'm posting here, as although this has been tested on trunk (7.0), this only has exposure to a few developers at present, so please flag if you notice any issues with this. The changes should minimise the cpu hit for the 30 sec refreshes, but you will still see one when the current track changes, though this should be reduced from the current one slightly. Other skins (e.g. fishbone) don't have the constant refresh and should should be unaffected by this change.
