I agree. This would be a nice addition and it's been discussed before. The newest version of the scanner should allow this, but the user interface in the web ui hasn't been implemented yet. The current Browse Music Folder isn't quite the same, as you need to actually navigate into each folder before SlimServer picks up the new/changed files. A nice interface would be to use Browse Music Folder to navigate the folder structure (without the slowness caused by it actively looking for changes) and present an icon/link to manually "scan" at any given juncture. It would make BMF faster and would give the ability to scan a branch of the folder tree instead of one folder at a time. > Allow importing of a text file (say comma seperated) to import new > files. SlimServer would still need to scan the music files in order to pick up things like header offsets and bitrates, so it would probably be of limited value. -- JJZolx Jim ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JJZolx's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=31001 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/beta
