Well, in the meantime I had found the old version and reinstalled it
without any problem. A link to the old versions somewhere would not be
bad. People forget.

In fact there are no error messages. But scanning the database doesn't
seem to work. It takes a lot of time. Slows down Slimserver so that it
does not respond any more and the resulting database, even when I try
it on a small directory, is always incorrect: it includes old
information, even if I always do a "clear database and scan". When I
uninstall Slimserver I am not immediately able te remove all files.
Some are still kept open by mysql, so that I first had to terminate
mysql and then manually destroy the database files. A clean
(re)installation had the same effect. I guess it has to do something
with Mysql and I don't know so much about it. By the way, I'm running
Windows.
