Well, in the meantime I had found the old version and reinstalled it without any problem. A link to the old versions somewhere would not be bad. People forget.
In fact there are no error messages. But scanning the database doesn't seem to work. It takes a lot of time. Slows down Slimserver so that it does not respond any more and the resulting database, even when I try it on a small directory, is always incorrect: it includes old information, even if I always do a "clear database and scan". When I uninstall Slimserver I am not immediately able te remove all files. Some are still kept open by mysql, so that I first had to terminate mysql and then manually destroy the database files. A clean (re)installation had the same effect. I guess it has to do something with Mysql and I don't know so much about it. By the way, I'm running Windows. -- Janco ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Janco's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=5319 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=31827 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/beta
