The cookie should be updated whenever you select a browse or plugin option (other than the switch to squeezenetwork plugin). I've just added some extra sanity checks and fallbacks to hopefully handle the case of turning off a plugin, so that if the cookie doesn't match a valid page, it will revert back to the album browse and set the cookie for that.
