I'm running 6.5.3 12095 on OS X (10.4.9) and have recently found that I am experiencing problems on Playlists once again. I had this issue over 12 months ago but everything has run happily for about a year now. Before I report this as a bug, just wonder whether anyone else is seeing similar issues or can point me in the direction of a solution.
SlimServer is running on the same Mac as my iTunes library and seems to get all my albums, artists and playlists. That said, certain iTunes playlists (sadly the ones I use for my morning alarms) don't seem to be working and, although the Squeezebox switches on at the correct time, no music plays. This is not terribly good for the job continuity program. This morning, I had a new variant for the first time: the Squeezebox came on at the appointed hour and I was blasted by really loud white noise. This solves the issue with waking up to the alarm but probably doesn't help my marriage or my sanity. I have tried rescanning my entire library but to no avail. All help gratefully received.
