Specific artists are correctly displayed for me. Eg. If I browse Tori Amos, I see some specific albums, and "No Album", which only contains Tori Amos tracks that are not on an album. The only problem I see is that I have "No Album" also listed within Various Artists, which is a list of all artists that have tracks without an album tag. I think that perhaps this Various Artists/No Album just doesn't need to be displayed (unless it's possible to have a compilation album without an album name???). I don't think I used to see "No Album" in there.
