I just opened it up again to do as you suggested and it is now working in both IE7 & Firefox. Only thing that has changed since the last time was that I stopped and restarted Slimserver. Not sure if this is related or just coincidental. The fact that it wasn't working on 2 separate computers and with both IE7 and Firefox suggests to me a Slimserver problem.
Anyway, now it's working i'm loving it.
