Hi All I installed 10/2 and things look much better now. I tried clearing cache first and it didn't seem to make a difference. I still want to make sure I'm not getting the GD errors in the log though in case its the html resizing things. kdf- you mentioned: "-d_graphics did the trick in SS6, SC7 setting artwork = DEBUG should do the same" Is that to say "artwork = DEBUG" is the new syntax for command line debug options to slimserver.pl? Also is there info in the wiki or somewhere for SC7 options/switches. slimserver.pl no longer seems to spit out a list of valid switches when you pass it bad switches when starting from the command line. I use the tar ball versions and I am having trouble getting things to work the way I used to in 5.4 - 6.x. ie I used to keep the cachedir, prefs file, log file etc out of the SS root so I didn't over write things when changing versions. I saw that prefsfile changed to prefsdir but I'm not sure if the syntax has changed. Is it still --prefsdir /path/to/prefsdir or is it now prefsdir = /path/to/prefs?
One of the reason I ask is because when I just upgraded to SC 10/2 from SC 9/30 I got the setup routine in SC when I restated. Although all of the fields were filled out I thought it was strange. I wonder where SC looks to see if it is being installed for the first time or not. I copied the 9/30 prefs dir to the 10/2 prefsdir before starting but it still went through the setup. Sorry if that went OT.
