On that same wiki page, someone (I forget who) posted a link to their subversion machine, so you can see the diff between the 6.5.x and 7.0 versions of a plugin.
I found this invaluable when migrating LiveDepartures to be v7.0 compatible. I still have some issues to iron out (mainly to do with the web page settings) but it's mostly there. I intend to update the wiki soon. Good luck...
