Yes, that's what I expected for your example, but I get about 8 steps in a
rescan job, with some of the steps having sub-progress, such as:
Directory scan please wait (1 of 1)
Directory scan running (1 of 20)
Directory scan running (2 of 20)
...
Directory scan running (20 of 20)
Playlist scan please wait (2 of 2)
Merge Various artists (3 of 3)
Merge various artist (1 of 500)
Merge various artist (2 of 500)
...
Merge various artist (500 of 500)
Database cleanup #1 (4 of 4)
Database cleanup #2 (5 of 5)
...
etc.
...
Complete (8 of 8)
I would have thought that the overall number of steps would be known, and thus
eg. "Merge Various artists (3 of 8)". If not, just display the step number or
no "(n of n)" at all.
